Preparation
Today we’re making a delicious homemade pinsa, light and fragrant.
Start with the ingredients: flour, water, and yeast. Place everything in a stand mixer and knead until you get a smooth, well-combined dough.
Transfer the dough to a baking tray, lightly drizzle with oil, and cover to prevent the surface from drying out. Once the dough has risen, gently stretch it with a spatula and allow a second rise, keeping it covered.
When the pinsa has completed its second rise, bake it in the oven at 220°C (425°F) for 7–8 minutes, vent open, until the surface is golden and fragrant.
The result is a pinsa that is soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, ready to be topped as desired and enjoyed.
